In these modern times, it is quite common that most of the parents want their children to be doctors and engineers. The only reason is, Science has developed and reached the mount whereas people started to talk, What's there in literature? What is the use in learning a language? I fear for a time may come where people ask, ¨why this language course is needed? Cautiously, I am going to discuss a few facts about literature and Science:-)

Science is a process of discovery that allows us to link isolated facts into coherent and comprehensive understandings of the natural world. Science is continually refining and expanding our knowledge of the universe, and as it does, it leads to new questions for future investigation. Science will never be "finished." Inventories from Copernicus, Einstein, Archimedes, Newton were still keep on upcoming. Hereby, I want to mention Newton's third law,

               "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction or the forces of two bodies on each other always equal and are directed in opposite directions."

This Law is applicable to all the actions of a man in his daily life. Of course, we can't survive in this world without science. We can't live without light, mobile and laptop. By science, transportation has become so easy and the technology has developed so much that we can move to any part of the world within 24 hrs.

A Child grows to a man by eating, playing, sleeping and he works hard to save his family. Finally, he becomes old and dies. It is the history of every common man. Do you find any science or literature in these common factors of a man? Yes, of course there is! Activities like eating, playing, sleeping is just like a default program on computer. Without it we can't survive. Whereas actions like smiling, crying, laughing, loving and feeling jealous, anger, etc., is literature. Literature is the life given to the dead thing.

Science has many languages like C, JAVA, COBOL which can be studied by everyone if we have a good teacher. But this literature is learned, we can't study it. It is the realisation which blind can see and the deaf can hear! It is an emotional feeling expressed in words. As Wordsworth says,

         "Poetry is a spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility."

Yes, I agree with these words of Wordsworth. Whenever your heart is filled with full of joy or sorrow, just take a pen and paper, and start writing, it is literature! It is the mirror of life. It is only the social events and experiences get transcribed in the works of literature. It teaches the psychology, personality, way of approaching, the kindness and the most important one how to love others. Learn Literature, Love others whereas

                  "God is Love and Love is God."

Finally, We can't live without Science as well as Literature. Hence,

                      Literature + Science = Happy life
